POSITION TITLE: Regional Account Manager
POSITION REPORTS TO: Chief Revenue Officer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for identifying new sales opportunities to existing customers by utilizing the sales process from prospecting through closing.
- Sales cycle management, utilizing phone skills, written correspondence, in-person presentations, web training, proposals and other measures over months and perhaps years.
- Act as primary account contact for customers. Liaison with internal departments as necessary to handle customer inquiries, problems that arise, promotion of new and existing products, and related activities.
- Maximize revenue by acting as the customer’s focal point/advocate through cooperative promotional programs, training, educating customers about new applications and resolving sales issues.
- Responsible for timely completion of required sales reporting and administrative tasks as determined by IWC and your management team. Including (but not limited to):
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM customer files
- Territory activity reporting, including CRM (Salesforce) hygiene
- Managing travel and expenses per company policy and timely submission of expense reports
- Timely completion of required company compliance training
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-5 years’ experience representing technical products in business to business a must.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer’s business objectives and processes.
- Understand the structure, distribution channels, pricing and demand drivers within existing vertical markets.
- Proven ability to understand and represent a technology-driven company.
- Must have effective organization, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work with all levels of management from field support to top management.
- Proven written communication skills. Must be able to understand, discuss and suggest changes to written business agreements.
- Ability to coordinate efforts with several different departments or entities to achieve a specific goal.
- Ability to think strategically and make sensible business judgments.
- Great verbal communication skills. Proven ability to speak with customers at a business and technical level.
- Excellent computer skills: proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
- Experience selling physical security, or related components or solutions.
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC a plus
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/OTHER:
- Bachelor’s degree highly desirable or equivalent experience.
- Must reside in sales region, NY, NJ, PA
COMPENSATION:
Base pay salary range $120k - $130k plus commissions and/or bonus
