Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Account Manager to join our team! The Account Manager position is the primary liaison between Tank Holding’s brand Semco and Tank Holding’s other brands and their assigned customer accounts. You will initiate and maintain new and existing client relationships to generate new business, create service and installation solutions, and develop and increase Key and National Account relationships to increase market share and sales opportunities that support Semco’s sales and revenue objectives.

- Proven record of success in driving revenue through prospecting, creating new business and sustainably growing existing business.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction based on unquestionable personal integrity, confidentiality, trust and relationship building.
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure, while absorbing, learning and adapting quickly to changing business priorities.
- Demonstrated history of proficiency in critical and analytical thinking, problem solving, priority and goal setting, decision - making, organization, and interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Proven commitment and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and applicable software
- Ability to maintain domestic travel schedule of up to 40%.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for key customer retention, satisfaction, and development.
- Develop sales with assigned accounts, maximizing both top line sales and profitability.
- Identify areas of opportunity for processes, materials, and quality.
- Provide and maintain accurate customer forecasts for production.
- Supervise and manage customer service functions and be the “go to” for any issues that arise with assigned accounts, as well as be proactive with potential opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee the successful onboarding of new opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Maintain communication with accounts and production regarding scheduling priorities.
- Visit customer sites as needed, provide account reviews and communicate key metrics.
- Arrange and coordinate customer visits to your assigned locations.
- Manage the process including making certain that all customer returns/credits are appropriate, justified, and minimized.
- Prospect as requested when traveling to visit assigned customers.
- Entertain customers in the form of lunches, dinners, sporting events, etc as applicable.
- Develop and implement sales marketing strategies to penetrate multiple vertical markets (e.g., education, health care, industrial and commercial).
- Identifies potential project risks and develops/implement strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
- Proactively communicates project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities on a regular basis with customers and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Manages the execution and review of all scope of work, terms and conditions in customer contracts including cost control, delivery fulfillment, and quality of service and other customer requirements as they arise.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required:
- 3 – 5 years of Manufacturing, Industrial and/or Commercial sales required
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
- 3+ years of full cycle account management experience in industrial/commercial sales
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
- 3+ years of full cycle account management experience in the plastics industry or a related industry.
