About the Job
The Account Manager is responsible for the implementation and roll out of sales programs. This position is well versed in the company’s products and services, maintains awareness regarding industry standards and client expectations, utilizes time efficiently and travels on an as needed basis. The Account Manager thoroughly understands the daily operations in order to articulate best practices, procedures, and guidelines and demonstrates superior customer service and strives to meet and exceed company’s revenue objectives
Responsibilities:
- Sets up new program sale accounts with all levels of our company and puts together project plans that coincide with our standard operating procedures.
- Clearly understands and articulates all of our products and services.
- Manages successful relationships with assigned group of accounts.
- Coordinates efforts with Sales Executive(s) and/or Senior Management and other account managers at the local and regional level.
- Identify any problems with assigned accounts and facilitate timely solutions.
- Maintains client relationships at a local level by coordinating services and customer service. Shares information with other staff to improve and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Attends all sales and/or marketing meetings as directed.
- Continuously analyzes the market and competition and identifies external threats and opportunities; Adapts sales strategy to changing conditions.
- Provides weekly, monthly and or quarterly updates as directed.
- Bachelor degree in business, marketing or sales; or 3 years related experience in outside sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of claims management relative to workers' compensation, no-fault, liability, and disability is preferred
- Must hold a valid state Driver’s License
- Must be able to divide work requirements between 90% office time and 10% travel
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality, while monitoring own work to ensure quality is met
- Must demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is needed
- Uses intuition and experience to effectively market the company’s services
- Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations
- Demonstrates the ability to problem solve and develop alternative solutions when dealing with client issues or emotional topics
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to demonstrate team behavior and willing to promote a positive team -oriented environment
