Hexagon Autonomy and Positioning (A&P) is looking for Marine Account manager to Operating as the lead point of contact for offshore vessel accounts for our GNSS positioning technology.
While part of the North American Marine Sales and Support team, this position will join a high-performance team focused on supporting our Mexican and American marine offshore client base with their GNSS positioning needs. Our customers rely on Hexagon A&P’s industry leading technology when building their own solutions. The Location: Hexagon is a global company with offices around the world. This position is based in Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities:As an Account Manager you will:
- Actively manage customer accounts including negotiate contract renewals to maximize profits, and travel to visit with Clients in Mexico.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives while adhering to company quality and safety standards.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, and provide updated forecasts
- Develop new and additional business with existing customers
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Updating and maintenance of all necessary business system; Syteline/Salesforce
- That all Invoicing is completed in a timely manner
- Continuously review all business processes to ensure maximum efficiency of day-to-day operations
- Ensuring that Customer receivables are monitored and followed up to ensure prompt receipt of due
- revenue
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Vessel mobilizations: Ensuring that all necessary risk assessments are completed, and the relevant materials, personnel and documentation have been requested to allow satisfactory completion of the mobilization
- Ensuring that all documents used during or resulting from vessel visits are filed in the appropriate customer folder
- Ensuring that the final product/service is compliant to Customer’s specification, meeting all contractual and quality requirements
- Ensuring familiarity with the most up to date technology, equipment and resources.
- Attend industry trade shows and exhibitions
- Be available to be part of any out of hours on call rota or other out of hour’s duties as instructed on a reasonable basis.
- Assuming the responsibilities of Operations Manager in their absence
Must-Have:
- A recognized higher education or Technical qualification
- 3-5 years relevant experience in Account Management or techicially relavent field
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager or Key Account Manager in the oil and gas or marine industry
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in both English and Spanish
