Job Description
The Account Manager in our Warps Division is responsible for delivering sales volume, distribution, merchandising, and pricing performance. Responsibility covers all channels of business but is mainly focused on the wholesale and retail channel. Inherent in this responsibility is managing independent wholesale relationships as well as retail customers and independent sales representatives. The Account Manager manages a territory and is responsible for developing and executing business plans to existing customers that includes pricing, and promotions as well as prospecting and interfacing with new potential customers while exceeding our customer's expectations and delivering sustainable growth within company budgeted guidelines.
Company has initiated a new Sales Incentive Program concentrating on new and incremental sales for ambitious and eager minded Account Managers.
Job Requirements
- Manage Warp's branded portfolio within assigned geography, ensure proper planning and implementation of sales programs, pricing structures and promotions with Director of Sales
- Actively collaborate with Warp's customer service team to develop chemistry and gain understanding of our go to market strategy with respective customers
- Serves Customers by selling products and exceeding customer requirements
- Promptly follows up on and executes on all accounts' needs, inquiries and concerns
- Handles account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and communication are complete and documented
- Contribute new ideas as well as market information received from our customers to increase sales to achieve company established sales and performance goals.
- Assist in the design and implementation of promotions and programs to increase profitable sales
- Recommends changes in products, service, and sales policy by monitoring and evaluation company and competitive results.
- Travels to conduct outside sales calls to promote company products, develop leads and service existing accounts - travel up to 25%
- Communicates with management regularly with activity reports - including daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly analysis.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2-3 years sales experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- MS Office Proficiency: Ability to use PowerPoint to develop presentations
- Mathematical and Analytical skills
- Has the ability to listen and communicate with customers and team-members in a positive and professional manner - both verbally and written
- Represents the company at trade shows and business networking events. Sets up exhibits which can involve bending, stooping, and lifting
- Must be able to manage time and prioritize work.
