Position Summary:
Operations Specialists act as a resource to specific accounts within Sheer Logistics to enable load growth and provide exceptional levels of customer service. It is the responsibility of the Operations Specialist to maintain and manage relationships with company account(s) entrusted to them. They act as the primary source of communication between the company’s Carriers and the Customer Sales Representatives directly tied to their assigned account(s). In many instances, the Operations Specialist will be directly communicating with the account(s) they are assisting to grow. After shipments have been booked, Operations Specialists are responsible for ensuring the load’s specific requirements are met, always.

Essential Functions:
- Manage and maintain relationships
- Provide exceptional customer service on assigned account(s) to ensure load count growth
- Provide immediate support to the Customer Sales Representative(s) tied to their account(s) through managing operational tasks
- Qualification of carriers in accordance with company and legal requirements
- Daily dispatching and providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment
- Daily tracking of loads booked
- Thorough communication with all dedicated accounts and associated Customer Sales Reps
- Keep updated and timely records of customer interactions and transactions
- Problem resolution to the satisfaction of your carriers/customers and Sheer Logistics
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2 years previous Logistics Account Management experience
- 2 years Industry experience account managing SaaS and/or TMS accounts
- Previous Customer Engagement Experience
- Time management skills
- Excellent phone, communication, and customer service skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency
- Working knowledge of basic geography
- Sound judgement and professionalism
- Relationship building qualities
- Ability to multitask
