About the Job
MAC Staffing Group is looking for an Account Manager to support our client in Clear Lake, City, TX. Account Manager is responsible for engaging with new customers as well as managing to a high level of service for existing clients— and possesses a strong drive for generating demand and brand success. Technical knowledge of SCADA Systems and IIoT, the ability to negotiate strategic deals, and problem-solving skills are critical to the success of the Account Manager role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage conversion of leads provided by marketing through to completed sales.
- Develop leads based on existing customer network from the CRM and other customer networking opportunities.
- Participate in regular sales meetings to review all active leads.
- Represent company at tradeshows, conferences, and industry-related events.
- Actively work leads as assigned from accounts that do not have a permanent salesperson assigned.
- Continually develop and expand your technical and product knowledge base.
- Able to travel up to 70% of the time.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in sales and or business development in industrial automation, SCADA communication, system integration or related industry.
- Demonstrated problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational/time management skills.
