Job Details
This position is focused on building relationships, developing new business, and managing existing accounts entirely via phone, email, and virtual communication tools. This role is a blend of new business development (60%) and existing account management (40%), requiring a strategic and customer-focused mindset.
Business Development:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new customers through outbound phone calls, email campaigns, and virtual meetings.
- Reestablish relationships with dormant accounts to reignite business opportunities.
- Leverage a structured approach to identify leads, qualify prospects, and close new business remotely.
Account Management:
- Serve and grow existing accounts by understanding customer needs, providing solutions, and ensuring satisfaction—all through remote communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the customer base to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Utilize an organized system for tracking interactions and follow-ups to ensure consistent communication.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- In collaboration with management, develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate customer feedback and market insights to support product and service improvement initiatives.
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress toward goals.

- Superb time manager and multi-tasker
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial equipment sales, with a focus on electric motors and overhead cranes.
- Proven success in outbound phone-based business development, with demonstrated results in identifying, qualifying, and closing new business remotely.
- Ability to illustrate and speak to an organized, methodical approach for developing and maintaining customers without in-person interaction.
- Strong understanding of the industrial parts and equipment market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in virtual environments.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a remote role.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
