The Account Manager position is responsible for actively prospecting into new companies through inbound leads and outbound cold calls and email. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. This position also handles confidential information as it pertains to the company.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively prospect into new companies through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Effectively use lead generation techniques to assemble lists of prospective customers
- Nurture ongoing relationships with customer contacts and decision-makers
- Maintain activity level standards (time spent prospecting and holding customer meetings)
- Strategically manage sales cycles and provide pipeline sales forecasts
- Become an expert in the products and services offered by the company.
- Bring visibility of all aspects of our product and service portfolio to every customer
- Build a pipeline of potential future business by prospecting via the Internet, assigned territory lists, outbound marketing/lead campaigns and other sources as identified
- Actively provide pre-and post-sales support to customers and prospects
- Consistently maintain monthly and annual sales quota and revenue goals
- Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions with customers
- Overcome technical and business objections to convert opportunities to sales.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 2-year college degree or commiserate work experience
- 2 years of Technology and/or Solution sales experience preferred
- Business -to-Business sales
DESIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge in Technology Services, Server, Storage and /or Networking architectures
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to speak effectively before customers and employees
- Active listening to understand and capture customer business requirements
- Superb written and phone communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
