NOTICE: SpecialtyRx is seeking an Account Manager located in the surrounding areas of Gainesville, FL.
The Account Manager will be servicing and overseeing the relationship with our long-term care facilities and assisted living communities in the surrounding areas of Gainesville, FL. Under general supervision of the Account Executive Manager, in accordance with local, state, federal, and company laws.
An Account Manager must have a good understanding of the solution to provide adequate support and maintain long-term relationships. Along with demonstrating excellent customer service performance and consistency with SpecialtyRx's mission and values.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and perform routine visits to assigned facilities.
- Respond in a professional and timely manner to inquiries from client facilities.
- Ability to relate to client needs.
- Work with pharmacy staff to obtain information to share with client facilities and to solve client facility issues.
- Perform audits of medication and treatment carts for survey preparation.
- Audit antibiotics/PO/IV and backup boxes to ensure proper par levels are maintained and medications are not expired.
- Audit emergency boxes to ensure proper seal(s) are placed and medications are not expired.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Administrators and Director of Nursing of client facilities to facilitate position responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Important: Must be local to the surrounding areas of Gainesville, FL.
- LPN Florida License preferred.
- Long Term Care Pharmacy experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of health care procedures.
- Ability to make quick decisions, establish priorities, and concentrate on detailed information.
- Driven and motivated problem-solver.
- Ability to work independently and team player.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willing to drive long distances in the State of Florida.
