Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate collections, invoicing, and trade completion.
- Develop and execute strategies to minimize accounts receivable balances and enhance cash flow.
- Manage weekly accounts receivable reporting and present reports to management.
- Participate in weekly production and accounts receivable meetings, reviewing all jobs.
- Collaborate with accounts payable and other staff to maintain financial accuracy and prepare special reports.
- Oversee the pre-lien and lien process, maintaining proactive communication with third-party lien/collection services.
- Monitor labor and material invoices for accuracy, and ensure correct accounting.
- Actively participate in company collection efforts and work with salespeople to facilitate customer payments.
- Prepare and send final invoices to insurance companies upon job completion.
- Ensure accurate accounting in QuickBooks and update job status upon completion of a project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Restoration industry knowledge and experience required.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in the construction or restoration industry.
- Familiarity with insurance restoration is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of software such as Go High Level, and Acculynx is highly preferred, proficiency with Xactimate is required.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and departments.
- Detail and customer-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Salary and Benefits:
- Full-Time, In-Office position.
- Salary at $40,000 - $50,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
