The Ideal Account Manager Will….
- Support sales and account management for the Southern region, including the states of Texas, New Mexico, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Missouri AND reside in one of these states.
- Maintain and grow existing food accounts in the South territory, while developing new business opportunities.
- Coordinate and implement sales strategies tailored to individual customer needs.
- Ensure profitable sales of food ingredients across the territory, partnering with distribution channels.
- Provide market research feedback on industry trends, competitors, and new applications.
- Prepare plans, budgets, and reports promptly.
- Attend trade shows and sales meetings to stay at the forefront of industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Grain Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in food ingredients required.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to business needs.
