We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly driven Permanent Account Manager for our Commercial division within the Engineering industry. Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key commercial accounts within the engineering industry.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory.
- Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and business opportunities.
- Deliver tailored solutions to customers to meet their specific business needs and challenges.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Conduct regular cold calling and lead generation activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
- Liaise with the marketing and product development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven work experience of 5+ years as an Account Manager, Sales Representative or similar role in the Engineering industry.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office.
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven track record in sales, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
- Experience in cold calling, lead generation, direct sales, B2B sales, account management, and territory sales is mandatory.
