Account Manager, Commercial Lines - Hotchkiss Insurance

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will maintain a strong, consultative relationship with our commercial insurance clients. Prioritizing client loyalty, you will collaborate with agency producers in handling and processing new and renewal commercial business.

What You Will Do

• Serve as the main point of contact for all service needs of your assigned book of business.
• Assess and evaluate renewal requests for compliance with underwriting guidelines, providing assistance when needed.
• Work with Account Associates to ensure tasks related to assigned accounts, including binding coverage, invoicing, and collecting premiums are handled properly.
• Focus on client retention, working collaboratively with the Sales Consultant to ensure a high retention rate.
• Manage customer requests and correspondence related to assigned clients, covering desks for the team as needed.
• Stay informed about rates, forms, and coverage changes, and acquire knowledge of the company's submissions and proposals process for policies.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Property & Casualty insurance license required
• 5 years of Account Management Experience 
• Proficiency in Applied Systems, electronic signature platforms, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related tools
