Compensation: Base Salary range $90-100k plus 2% on Enhancements Sold

Job Description:
Our Client is a well established Commercial Landscape company that has been servicing the Southern California market for decades. They plan to hire an experienced Landscape Account Manager to manage a book of commercial clients which mainly consist of HOA's, Commercial Properties and Office.
This person will be the main point of contact for the company and the client and will be responsible for quality control, profitability, client retention, production and selling enhancements. They will work with a production manager to oversee all operations related to their maintenance accounts, including creating punch lists and proposals, ordering materials, and overseeing site irrigation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Meet with clients regularly, walk and inspect properties to check on quality, identify enhancement sales opportunities, create needed proposals and reports, develop punch lists and attend committee and board meetings.
- Make horticulturally correct recommendations for improvements to unlock the value of a property.
- Ensure proper operations, scheduling and maintenance of all irrigation systems and controllers on landscape maintenance accounts.
- Schedule and supervise all landscape maintenance work and update the client file by utilizing the system.
- Manage labor and material costs to achieving the budgeted margin for each account.
- Reinforce organizational policies and procedures and handle any workplace injuries and incidents.
Requirements:
Will have principles, practices, and methods associated with landscape management
Safe work practices involving equipment, chemicals, and PPE
Horticulture and common plant material knowledge
Software and Cell Phone usage
Math skills particularly as they relate to proper fertilization and area calculations
Education:
A combination of formal education in Horticulture (or related field) and/or several years of field experience in professional landscape management are required.
QAL (or the ability to obtain a QAL) is required. https://www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/license/qal.htm
CLIA, CLT, and other licenses and certificates are beneficial.
Spanish is beneficial.
A valid class "C" California Driver's License and an acceptable driving record are required.
