Exceptional company on a strong growth track, looking to add an Account Manager to their team in Chicago.
This is one of the largest independently-owned companies in the overhead lifting and rigging industries and is a manufacturer and distributor of a wide range of lifting products for industrial, commercial and specialty applications.
Some of the major markets they serve are Steel, Construction, Energy, Vehicle and Durable Goods, Ship Building / Repair, and Mining.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and build lasting customer relationships within a dynamic industry environment.
Position Summary:
In this role, you will strategically utilize their comprehensive range of products and services to deliver innovative solutions tailored to heavy manufacturing plants, construction sites, and similar environments within a designated territory. Your primary focus will be on fostering customer loyalty by expanding relationships across all levels of businesses, encouraging clients to adopt new perspectives on opportunities and risks within their operations.
Requirements:
- Results-oriented sales professional (hunter mentality) who is detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined
- A proven track record of building and maintaining effective customer relationships to meet, or exceed, established goals for product sales
- Demonstrated experience in effective territory management
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills
- Proven strong organizational abilities
- Strong math skills
- Technical aptitude - overall PC literacy (e.g., Windows, Microsoft Office)
- Valid driver’s license in good standing that meets company requirements
- Ability to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screen, and E-verify
