Position Must Haves:
Residence in, and ability to travel within the territory of, Metro New York and New Jersey.
Knowledge of, and experience working within, the New York City school system.
Proficiency with relational selling and the Challenger Sales methodology. Commitment to growing sales while adhering to Lightspeed's Core Values.
Demonstrated ability to build a network of influencers and key decision-makers within the K-12 market in the territory.
Demonstrated ability to effectively, compellingly, and succinctly communicate a solutions-based message in both conversational and presentation formats along with an ability to tailor this message based upon your audience.
Demonstrated ability to converse, prospect, and present in both in-person and virtual formats.
Demonstrated ability to create a territory plan that meets or exceeds yearly sales plan.
Knowledge and demonstrated fluency in classroom instructional technologies.
Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, Concur, Zoom, and other software solutions. implemented by Lightspeed's sales team.
High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years outside sales experience with K-12 education sales.
Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce.
