Account Executive
Our client is an affordable, high-end jewelry brand is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join their sales team and drive wholesale efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships with existing wholesale accounts, serving as their main point of contact and working collaboratively to analyze their business needs
- Manage a wide array of account types including boutiques, hospitality/travel, hospitals, department stores, etc.
- Ensure optimal product selection, strong classification coverage, and brand representation per account
- Increase sales turnover by fostering long-term relationships with a focus on mutual growth and success
- Drive in season business through reorder replenishment and proactively identifying sales opportunities
- Target new business, analyze brand adjacency and positioning, and survey the general market for new wholesale opportunities
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and end-of-season sales analyses, leveraging a thorough financial comprehension of the business to assess performance and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement
- Manage and represent their products at industry trade shows and events to showcase products and build relationships with potential clients
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in a similar account executive or sales role within the luxury goods industry, preferably in jewelry
- Strong understanding of the fashion and accessories market with a keen eye for trends
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and events, including overnight and on weekends, as needed
- Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external teams
Benefits:
- $50k-$60k base salary + commission
