SUMMARY
The Account Executive is responsible for owning, managing, growing, and driving business for a specific account base for our Original Penguin Collection
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily, monthly, and Quarterly account performance
- Consistently call on accounts to better understand their business needs and develop strong relationships.
- Seek new opportunities and new accounts to grow the business
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Assist in set up, maintenance, and distribution of market and trade show schedules
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
- Manage internal receiving and shipping of goods to accounts
- Draft financial, statistical, and/or other reports as requested
- Recap and report business performance and account updates to senior management weekly
- Travel to all wholesale locations seasonally to understanding the competition and retail landscape in order to manage and grow the business & Trade Shows
SKILLS:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, G Suite
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Advanced ability to create reports from Business Objects
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff in a fast paced environment, oftentimes under pressure
- Able to work with a high degree of autonomy to meet deadlines and complete projects

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years relevant Sales experience, preferably in Menswear
- Prior experience with Specialty accounts and Trade Shows preferred
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong organizational skills and math skills required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external customers/clients/business partners and build strong relationships
- Excellent IT skills including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as NuOrder
- Working knowledge of G Suite applications
- Ability to travel
The salary offered will be commensurate with experience. For this New York based position, the expected base salary is $73,600 - $93,000.
