About The Role
The Account Executive, New Sales position supports the new business growth of Accusoft. Specifically selling to SMB, commercial and mid-market prospects. The role is a hunting role responsible for prospecting, working MQL's, making sales calls, continuously updating the CRM database, and meeting sales targets. To be successful in this role you should be able to work both independently and with the marketing team in sourcing qualified leads and prospecting outbound to a global marketplace. You should also be able to collaborate well with product teams during the proof of concept stage and then move quickly into offering license opportunities to new accounts within the assigned territory. The role involves executing a comprehensive sales plan to achieve or surpass the established new sales quota. In this role, one is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all sales activities and orders in the sales database; taking sales from initial interest to order processed through system updates.
Ways You Will Contribute to Our Collective Success
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Forecast Accurately between -5% to 10+% monthly and quarterly.
- Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by Accusoft.
- Build an addressable database using multiple prospecting methods such as cold-calling, win-backs, and email sequencing.
- Maintain an SLA for MQL's of less than 24 hrs.
- Keep a well-maintained CRM record for each lead, prospect, or opportunity within the assigned territory.
- Attend networking activities or trade shows to build prospect databases or find new opportunities.
- Craft business proposals and contracts.
- Negotiate using value and consultative selling methods.
- Appropriately communicate prospective client and client feedback back to product, marketing, and sales teams.
- Draft a territory plan, adapt sales pitches, create presentations, and give input on reference material, and other documents as required
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
The Background and Experience You Need to Support Success
- Two plus years experience in a sales hunting role or new business, specifically targeting SMB and mid-market companies.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or related field and B2B experience in corporate management and sales process environment a plus
- Past experience in a full cycle sales role.
- Past experience in technical sales software offerings.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
- Great networking skills.
- Strong contract negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
