Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced and driven Account Executive to help expand Client's Supply Chain Merchant Services capabilities. This role will focus on connecting restaurant partners with Client's innovative grocery solutions, aimed at streamlining their inventory and procurement processes. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with restaurant operators, guiding them through the sales cycle, and providing tailored solutions to meet their food supply needs. The role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing business vertical in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Execution: Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to close, using a consultative approach to understand each partner’s unique challenges and customize solutions to meet their needs.
Build Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with restaurant operators, showcasing the value of Client Grocery solutions to streamline inventory and procurement processes.
Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets by building a robust pipeline, solving merchant pain points, and retaining customers using Client's product offerings.
Market Expansion: Initially focus on one metro area, with plans for rapid expansion as the offering matures and evolves.
Problem-Solving: Address merchant pain points and challenges by recommending tailored solutions to drive their success and satisfaction with Client Grocery.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers and seamless execution of sales strategies.
Required Qualifications:
Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in the food service or supply chain industries.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to connect with restaurant operators and understand their business needs.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets while building a robust sales pipeline.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
A self-starter with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with or experience in the food service industry, particularly in supply chain, inventory management, or procurement.
Previous experience in selling SaaS or technology-based solutions to businesses.
