Job DescriptionAHRC NYC is looking to hire a Account Executive/Job Developer for our Bronx Employment Business Services program. The Account Executive/Job Developer position has an annual salary of between $50-$60k and comes with a low-to-no cost, comprehensive health benefit package which is just one way that AHRC NYC supports the wellbeing of our employees and their families. The Account Executive (AE) is adept at developing new relationships with businesses in various industries that lead to new person-centered employment opportunities for the people we support. You should be comfortable interacting with the highest level of business professionals with excellent customer service skills. You are able to develop new ways or adapt existing ideas to help achieve desired results. An AE needs to be innovative in efforts to make known to the business community the benefits of hiring our job seekers. Experience with people with disabilities/youth a plus. This position reports to the Regional Marketing Manager to coordinate a plan of action to achieve job placement goals, be responsible for its implementation and submit monthly placement reports. AE works with Program Staff to provide the best job matching for job seekers and employers. The AE may be required to work a flexible schedule from time, conduct cold calls and give presentations. You will participate in marketing and other meetings required to perform their job and may be asked to assist other regions in the city or assist other departments when needed for cross-departmental projects.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop employment and internship opportunities for people supported by AHRC NYC’s Employment & Business Services (EBS) and promote positive image of the organization
• Initiate employer relationships through cold calling, involvement in business groups, networking events, etc., in industries matching the abilities and interests of job seekers
• Accompany job seekers on interviews and help them to present themselves in best light possible. When necessary, travel with the job seekers to interviews
• Ensure quarterly program placement goals are met
Qualifications- Bachelor degree plus 2 years Marketing/Sales or related experience or an Associates degree with 5 years of experience, required.
- Ability to work in a performance-based system with a track record of meeting targets and deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively, establish and maintain relationships with employers, clients, supervisors and co-workers and provide excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and time-management skills
- Build positive interactions both internally and externally to foster enthusiasm and appreciation to achieve work related goals.
- NYS driver's license preferred, with a clear driving record.

Additional Information
Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm, some flexibility required.
