Join us in Houston, Texas for a full-time position as an Account Executive at Core Logistics Brokerage, LLC. As a Logistics Account Executive, you will spearhead customer account management, cultivate new business opportunities, maintain robust communication channels with clients and uphold exemplary customer service standards. RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prospect, secure & on-board new logistics customers, across multiple industries.
· Expand Core’s customer base relative to open deck, van, reefer, LTL & FTL transfers.
· Negotiate competitive & profitable customer rates driven by load specifics & market conditions.
· Build, lead & drive collaborative internal operations team around all new & assigned customers.
· Provide awesome levels of customer responsiveness and retention.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
· Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels.
· Minimum of 2 years logistics sales experience with proven track record of success.
· Self-motivated professional with outstanding sales, communication & relationship building skills.
· Sense of urgency, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for driving business growth.
· Predisposition for succeeding within a corporate culture driven by teamwork and collaboration.
· Ability to think creatively and adapt to evolving market dynamics.
· Capacity to travel 50% of the time throughout the Gulf States and Florida Headquarters.
