The Job: The Account Executive, Group Sales is responsible for maximizing group sales revenue, meeting set sales goals, and metric expectations, and building a pipeline of prospective clients by networking to establish authentic business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Achieve Outreach Metrics: Maximize group ticket sales and ticket sales revenue through the execution of sales calls and weekly meetings.
- New Opportunities: Strategically prospect new group sales opportunities and collaborate with team members in developing new group sales programs and enhancing existing programs.
- Ticket Offers: Spearhead assigned ticket offers and maximize sales through building relationships with local organizations.
- Revenue Goals: In collaboration with division leadership, set quarterly revenue targets; achieve or surpass targets through proactive sales strategies and effective relationship management.
- CRM Management: Ensure all pertinent prospect and customer information is inputted into CRM platform for efficient reporting and effective pipeline management.
- Engage in Sales Events: Work assigned sales, promotional, and team events to develop new prospects and referral opportunities.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide best-in-class customer service for all prospects and clients.
- Foster a Positive Team Approach: Maintain an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as a competitive desire to be the best.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of sales experience; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Must display a strong work ethic and desire to build a career in hospitality, travel, and/or tourism.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity and knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
- Must demonstrate the ability to be proactive, work independently and accomplish results in a high-level service environment.
- Language:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization.
- Mathematical:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, ROI, etc.
- Reasoning:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Physical:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
- The employee must occasionally life and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work Environment:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
