Emerald is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue across an exciting new addition to the Emerald Portfolio, #RISK. #RISK is the leading Expo for the fast growing, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) sector. #RISK is a content rich event with leading global speakers providing subject matter expertise and thought leadership to end-users of GRC technology platforms.
The Account Executive position will cater to technology vendors, taking an approach to providing solutions to our exhibitors to create long-lasting, mutually beneficial opportunities. This role will identify and sell to potential customers and build key relationships with our existing, core base of business.
The best candidate for this position will be a self-motivated new business developer with a strong attention to detail.
This position will be performed from our Alpharetta, Georgia office.
Responsibilities:- Identifying and seeking out new business opportunities.
- Meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Delivering proposals and securing the closing of contracts.
- Providing the highest level of service and support to customers
- Candidates should have applicable sales or business development experience
- Trade show sales and/or experience in the applicable industry preferred.
- Strong closing skills required
- Ability to work self-directed and self-motivated to meet and exceed sales development goals
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Computer literate in all aspects of Microsoft office a must.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM required.
- Ability to travel up to 25%

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Compensation: $65,000-75,000 (Sales Incentive Eligible)
Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
