ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
The Account Executive will drive growth by identifying and pursuing expansion opportunities, managing relationships with both new and existing strategic enterprise accounts. This role demands a deep understanding of clients' business and eLearning challenges, aiming to deliver value while maximizing revenue and margins for WebCE. The ideal candidate will quickly master WebCE's online education products and services, matching solutions to client needs. This is primarily an inside sales role with minimal travel required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pipeline Development:
- Generate demand independently through strategic sales activities.
- Target larger, complex deals with Enterprise Accounts.
- Promote WebCE's latest products, including pre-licensing exam prep and employee onboarding training.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and sustain long-term relationships, transitioning from vendor to trusted partner.
- Advocate for client needs and negotiate effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Line Managers, Sales Operations/Client Success, Marketing) to ensure smooth implementation and account growth.
- Client Engagement:
- Organize and facilitate client business reviews, annual bid packages, and virtual/customer-facing meetings.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Sales Expertise:
- Proficient in prospecting, selling, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Skilled in top-of-funnel strategies to continuously attract new opportunities.
- Effective virtual communication and influence, utilizing sales tools such as ZoomInfo, KnowledgeNet, and Salesloft.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in leveraging internal resources for problem-solving.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Comfortable with essential software tools (Windows PC, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Education:
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- Professional Experience:
- 2+ years managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- OR experience as a Business Development Representative with a strong track record in closing complex solution sales.
- B2B sales experience with related software products (eLearning, LMS platforms, compliance tracking platforms, CRM systems) is highly desirable.
- Experience in the insurance and financial services industry is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Up to 10% travel per year for conferences, trade shows, and client visits.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer/phone.
- Occasionally lift up to 10-15 pounds.
LOCATION:
- Corporate Office in Dallas, TX.
- Hybrid or fully remote work options available.
COMPENSATION:
- Base salary plus uncapped, unthrottled commission with opportunities for multi-year residuals. Final base salary will be determined based on skills, education, and experience.
