Responsible for inputting all daily activity into CRM, and planning against all top priority customers and distributors.

Position Summary:
This position involves selling our client’s products to a variety of foodservice distributors and operator customers. Distribution management includes maintaining relationships at all levels and representing our client’s needs. Responsible for inputting all daily activity into CRM, and planning against all top priority customers and distributors.
Principal Duties:
- Manage key distributor:
- Work with merchandising and marketing departments to ensure our client’s needs are met.
- Work with the distributor’s sales force to make sure they are effectively selling Affinity Groups products. Includes:
- Scheduling and leading sales meetings
- Work with’s
- Product training
- Food shows
- Complete ad hoc projects in a timely fashion.
- Enter details of Sales Calls into CRM and business plans into CRM daily.
- Attend industry events as determined by sales management.
- Responsible for gathering information for manufacturer and distributor reviews by the requested due dates.
- Strategy and Execution. You’ll be consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your assigned accounts, building awareness of our client's unique value proposition while presenting features and benefits for the lines we represent to drive inquiry generation. You’ll be using your unique ability to influence high-impact partnerships for your market while diving down to 'street level' to execute the daily work via informational virtual presentations, calls, and emails.
- Partner and Influencer. Through a variety of mediums, you will use your passion for serving others to provide exceptional sales presentations with a consultative approach for distributors, merchandisers, buyers and their sales teams.
- Heart and Hustle. This position will have a local office base. Working independently, you will leverage your critical thinking skills to support prospective Affinity Group clients through the selling cycle, trimester plaining through our CRM system, data integrity, and guiding prospects on the right path towards a successful purchasing experience.
- 3-5 years of foodservice brokerage or foodservice distribution sales experience.
- Restaurant operations or culinary experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Outstanding time management. Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
- Effective communication and listening skills.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build strong partner relationships.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule. This role requires daily travel throughout your territory. Some industry events may require overnights during the food trade show season.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- In the course of fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods, walk, sit, and utilize their hands and fingers.
- The employee must also be capable of lifting and/or moving weights ranging from 25 to 50 pounds.
- The individual should be able to endure long hours in a vehicle.
- Additionally, the employee may need to travel occasionally for client training and significant industry events.
