**Job Summary:**
As a Mid-Level Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing new business opportunities. You will focus on the industry verticals, targeting medium to large enterprises that require IT consulting and software solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and a passion for technology and innovation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Prospecting & Lead Generation:** Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social media, and networking within the Western region.
- **Sales Pipeline Management:** Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, tracking progress and ensuring follow-up at all stages of the sales cycle.
- **Client Engagement:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target companies, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the marketing, pre-sales, and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of client solutions.
- **Quota Achievement:** Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, with a focus on reaching Presidents Club.
- **Market Analysis:** Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position the company's offerings.
- **Reporting:** Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system, providing regular updates to the sales management team.
- **Continuous Improvement:** Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge of the company's solutions.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** 4-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the IT consulting or software industry.
- **Proven Track Record:** Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas, with experience in achieving Presidents Club or similar top-tier sales recognition.
- **Regional Expertise:** Familiarity with the Western region market, including key industries, companies, and decision-makers.
- **Technical Aptitude:** Strong understanding of IT consulting and software solutions, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently and negotiate effectively.
- **Self-Motivated:** Highly driven and self-disciplined, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- **CRM Proficiency:** Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage sales activities and pipeline.
- **Education:** Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
