The Account Director is one of the daily client contact/s responsible for managing the quality and execution of multiple accounts with managerial oversight. We are looking for you to demonstrate strong client interaction, relationship building, team management skills, and This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, patient advocacy, and brand reputation management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, or medical device organizations, offering strategic counsel and developing impactful PR campaigns. The PR Account Director is also accountable for managing client relationships, overseeing account teams, and ensuring campaign success and client satisfaction financial and organizational acumen. You will also be required to understand and apply your knowledge to our client's overall goals and strategies and the agency's business.

Job Summary

The PR Account Director is also accountable for managing client relationships, overseeing account teams, and ensuring campaign success and client satisfaction financial and organizational acumen. You will also be required to understand and apply your knowledge to our client's overall goals and strategies and the agency's business.
Key Job Responsibilities(Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)
- Act as the day-to-day client contacts: managing projects, building relationships, and demonstrating value as a resource
- Provide strategic counsel to ensure client deliverables align with recommendations and objectives
- Thoroughly know the client's business and communications objectives and KPIs
- Maintains effective and open lines of communication with clients to ensure satisfaction in the management of their business
- Can lead strategic discussions and guide clients through agency positions and recommendations
- Troubleshoots client and account issues; knows when to elevate to senior team for support and when to utilize personal judgment
- Oversee execution of projects working with the team, agency resources, and outside partners/vendors—on time and on budget
- Plays a major role in new business research and campaign activation development
- Superior writing, editing, grammar, listening, and verbal communication skills; ability to address complex issues in writing
- Versed and immersed in social and digital media/content as well as health and wellness current events and industry trends
- Conduct monthly account reporting in partnership with the finance team
- Can prep for and lead division brainstorms
- Collaboration with CalciumCompany divisions
- Encourages professional development through teaching, coaching, and an understanding of how to provide constructive feedback
Job Qualifications(Skills/Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree required in Public Relations, Communications or a related field.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- 5-8 years of relevant public relations experience, with at least 4 years specializing in healthcare or pharma.
- Solid judgement; knows when to use personal judgement and when to seek advice
- Ability to mentor staff and provide direction and objectives, performance counseling and skill building
- Demonstrates interest and enthusiasm by going the extra mile for clients and team
- Fully know the client’s business and communications objectives
- Fully understands client’s business and communications objectives, with critical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Highly collaborative; can work as a team player and independently
- Ability to be agile and adjust priorities based on agency and client needs
- Entrepreneurial spirit, passion, and intellectual curiosity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling healthcare narratives.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring account teams.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including FDA, HIPAA, and industry compliance standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable navigating complex regulatory environments and able to provide strategic insights to clients.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events
