Job Title: Account Clerk I (43073)

Job Locations: City of Virginia Beach, VA City Treasurer

241 Courthouse Drive, Bldg. 1, Virginia Beach, VA 23456

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Rate: $15.00/hourly

Job Duties:

• Provide professional customer service over the phone & in-person
• Ability to type at least 30wpm
• Process returned mail
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Complete system adjustments as requested/necessary
• Assist with administrative tasks to include printing, copying, mailing, etc.

Requirements:

• High school or GED plus six (6) months experience in fields providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities, such as bookkeeping or clerical accounting; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
