We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Accessibility Technician to join our dynamic team in the Medical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all our manufacturing processes, equipment, and products meet the necessary accessibility standards. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Accessibility Technician, you will be entrusted with the following duties:
1. Overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure all equipment and products meet accessibility standards.
2. Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify any potential accessibility issues.
3. Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
4. Troubleshooting electrical problems in machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance.
5. Collaborating with other departments to develop strategies for increasing accessibility.
6. Keeping up-to-date with the latest accessibility standards and legislation.
7. Providing training and guidance to the manufacturing team on accessibility issues.
8. Preparing and presenting reports on the accessibility status of the manufacturing process.
9. Working closely with the design team to ensure products are accessible from the initial stages of development.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accessibility Technician or a similar role in the Medical industry.
2. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting is essential.
3. A comprehensive understanding of accessibility standards and regulations.
4. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
7. Proficiency in using various tools and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
