What you'd do
Our dream candidate can listen to and understand our customers' needs and creatively use their skills by installing and programming access control & monitoring products we offer. This candidate communicates well with customers, using language they can understand in a patient, friendly and approachable manner. The candidate is able to install access control jobs, including pulling wire, installing & attaching wire to peripherals, and programming systems. Our cabling team also installs video displays and camera monitoring systems, you will work in a team to help install and configure the various products for use.
What else you'll need:
- Minimum 3 years' experience with access control systems, Experience in door hardware, electrified locks, strikes, crash bars, cutting in EPT hinges and troubleshooting
- Cabling in commercial environment (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Coax, Fiber, ext)
- Fishing cabling down doors
- experience in commercial installation of access control systems
- Strong knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Access Control systems
- Relay knowledge preferred
- ESA Training and/or certifications preferred
- Experience with Verkada systems preferred
- Ability to work from heights including A-frame and extension ladders, scissor lifts or bucket truck
- Ability to read schematics and follow written direction
- Self-management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work safely, independently, quickly, and efficiently while following instructions
- Team worker willing to do what it takes to get the job done
- Eagerness to learn
- Good record-keeping skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50- 100+ lbs.
- Ability to show up on time looking professional
- Valid driver's license & Clean driving record
- Willing and able to take & pass drug test
- 18+ years of age

Work Location: This team services the entire Wasatch Front and parts of southern Utah and primarily works at customer sites
Job Type: Full-time, M-F 8:00am-5:00pm
