Access Control Gate Technician Job Description

• Install and service gate access control systems, including keypads, card readers, and electronic locks.
• Pull, label, and terminate low-voltage cabling for access control systems.
• Mount and align gate mechanisms, control boxes, and sensors.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Conduct system testing to ensure proper functionality.
• Work on projects in commercial and industrial environments.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards.

• 1+ years working with gate access control or similar systems.
• Must have a Valid Texas Alarm installer license
• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and own transportation.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass an extensive criminal background check.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
