Major/Essential Functions:
- Critical Care training is required for this position.
- Direct the treatment of internal disorders.
- Analyze records, reports, test results, and examination information to diagnose the medical condition of the patient.
- Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care, including diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
- Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Prepare and deliver lectures and presentations on internal medicine to medical students and residents regarding training in various clinical settings, such as the hospital and outpatient clinics.
Occasional Duties:
Didactic lectures in topics of General Internal Medicine
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care.
Position will be filled at appropriate rank based upon selected candidate's credentials.
