Pay Range: $26.01 - $53.00
Position Objective:
The Senior A/V Technician works with assigned customers to lead and complete the planning, integration, testing, and customer acceptance of the assigned project within the time and budget parameters of the project with an emphasis on quality and professionalism. This position will lead all A/V efforts across Luminis Health. Delegates work to other A/V technicians. Proficient at installing all AV systems and components. Ability to trouble-shoot basic audio, video, and control system problems.

- Running projects in a leadership role, managing crews, and leading physical installations of the project from start to finish.
- Ensures compliance with Company processes, methods and procedures.
- Comfortable working with all levels of staff and mentoring less experienced technicians.
- Provides Executive level support and engagement for events and meetings.
- Professionally interacts with clients and manages expectations.
- Uses tact and good judgment in communicating with representatives from external organizations, and vendors.
- Configuration & installation of audio visual systems.
- Proficient with various terminations including RGB/RG6/Cat5/Compression/Solder etc.
- Performing video and audio editing for various company purposes and events.
10. Configuring Crestron, Extron, Epson, NEC, Sharp, Polycom, BiAmp, Clearone, AMX, etc.
11. Updating code on AMX, Crestron, and DSP code and commission AV systems.
12. Trains end users on AV systems and how to properly utilize tools.
13. Setting up and commissioning VTC systems.
14. Assessing conference room spaces and implementing improvements.
15. Maintaining and managing inventory for all AV equipment.
16. Ability to fabricate equipment racks.
17. Ability to safely use hand/power tools, run cable, solder, crimp, and compress the vast array of AV interfaces & connectors.
18. Must be able to read and interpret designs, wiring schematics, architectural drawings, and project printouts.
19. Processes all project paperwork including reports, quotes and billing/invoices.
20. Excellent work ethic and dedication to schedule commitments.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
The minimum level of education and experience for this position includes:
- 4 Year degree from an accredited college or university or the ability to demonstrate equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience as an A/V Technician
- Experience with these manufacturers preferred: Crestron, Polycom, Cisco, Extron
- Excellent Communication Skills (oral and written), customer service skills, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks as well as work individually or as a member of a team.
