Tri-Tech Surveying in West Houston has an immediate opening for an experienced A/R Specialist in Houston, Texas. The A/R Specialist will ensure clients are adequately billed for services, ensure that the correct amounts are collected on time, verify and record transactions, and resolve account discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post Accounts Receivable payments into Sage daily
- Enter customer adjustments
- Research incoming customer payments
- Research and problem solve payment discrepancies
- Process client credit card payments
- Generate customer statements
- Send out monthly statements to customers
- Post daily sales
- Send out bi-weekly reports
- Collections - review Accounts Receivable weekly and reach out to customers as needed and document collection efforts
- Send W9's to customers upon request
- Send invoice copies to clients upon request
- Create credit memos as needed
- Monitor accounts receivable email inbox and respond to incoming inquiries
- Correspond with customers regarding complex discrepancies
- Assist in month end close
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong computer skills including Excel
Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently and provide good judgment to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume
Education & Experience:
- 1-2 years of accounts receivable experience
- Sage experience preferred or similar accounting program
- Above average proficiency in Excel
