A/P Specialist - Robert Half

Description Are you an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) professional looking for your next opportunity? We have an exciting immediate contract position available for an AP Specialist in the Spokane, WA area! As a staffing firm dedicated to connecting top talent with leading organizations, we are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual to manage and process accounts payable functions for our client. Key Responsibilities: + Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies. + Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for payment. + Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments. + Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payment status. + Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. + Assist with month-end closing procedures and reporting. + Perform additional AP-related tasks as required by management. Requirements 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar accounting roles. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
