Job Details
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid A&P License is required
- 7+ years of heavy maintenance experience on large commercial aircraft required
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Recent aircraft maintenance supervisory/lead experience is preferred
- Maintenance experience on corporate aircraft is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assigns personnel to tasks and provides guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training in technical procedures, safety protocols, and general shop practices.
- Ensures quality and quantity of work from assigned crew members, taking accountability for outcomes.
- Collaborates with Manager and Supervisors to efficiently execute duties.
- Upholds housekeeping, tool control, and environmental safety programs, ensuring compliance.
- Maintains and performs preventative maintenance on aircraft, components, and equipment.
- Oversees aircraft status and coordinates with Maintenance Manager and team members.
- Assists in procuring aircraft parts and assessing their serviceability.
- Reviews aircraft records to confirm completion of required maintenance and associated documentation.
- Adheres to technical data, manuals, regulations, and maintenance directives.
- Determines aircraft and component airworthiness according to Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Demonstrates compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Exhibits a strong commitment to customer service and operational excellence.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
