We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated A&P Mechanic to join our dynamic team! This exciting role is perfect for an individual with a strong passion for aviation, a keen eye for detail, and a drive for maintaining the highest standards of aircraft safety and performance. The successful candidate will work on a variety of corporate jets, ensuring they are maintained and repaired to meet FAA regulations. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities
As an A&P Mechanic, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Performing routine and non-routine maintenance on various corporate jets.
2. Inspecting aircraft engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, accessories, and all other parts of the aircraft.
3. Reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
4. Adjusting, aligning, and calibrating aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment.
5. Documenting all inspections, maintenance, repair work, and compliance with applicable FAA and aircraft manufacturer regulations.
6. Using IPM and ATA codes to accurately report and record maintenance procedures.
7. Working closely with other team members and departments to ensure all aircraft are safe, reliable, and ready for flight.
Qualifications
To be considered for the A&P Mechanic position, you must possess the following:
1. A valid A&P license issued by the FAA.
2. Airframe and Powerplant certification by the FAA.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an A&P mechanic or in a similar role.
4. Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
5. Proficiency with IPM and ATA codes.
6. Experience working on corporate jets is highly preferred.
7. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
9. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, if necessary.
