Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experienceworking as an A & P Mechanic in the aviation industry is required.
• A&P Certification (preferred, not required).
• Must be able to receive an Airframe & Power Plant (A & P) License within the first 2 years after date of hire.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Technical/Trade School Certifications a plus.
• Corporate aircraft experience preferred (not required)
• Commercial, Helicopter, General, or Military Aircraft Mechanic experience will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures, systems, and functional components.
• Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, structural and accessories using hand tools and power tools.
• Adjust, align, and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges and test equipment, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment rivet gun and drills.
• Research and understand FAA technical data relevant to assigned tasks.
• Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved FAA data.
• Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed.
• Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition.
• Maintains the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor or other management personnel.

• Must be efficient and able to document maintenance performed on required forms.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift one hundred (50) pounds.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as walk extended distances.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and/service stands.
• Subject to continual loud noises.
• Must have normal corrected hearing and vision.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles. 
• Exposure to hazardous chemicals, abrasive blast residue, paint fumes, high pitch sound may occur.
• Personal Protective Equipment required in specified areas.
