Responsibilities:The ideal individual should have a great understanding on how material is delivered within an organization. In this role, the Workplace Logistics Associate will be responsible for handling and delivering to and from employees across the campus. The individual must bring a can-do attitude and sense of purpose to the job, flexible in changing direction and methods, thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing multiple priorities, be able to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization and adapt to quickly learn protocols. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepares packages for internal deliveries between Buildings
Delivers packages as required inside the campus
Communicate regularly with customers regarding status updates and service requests ensuring that all requests are handled promptly
Notifies employees of mail deliveries/packages
Supports inbound deliveries, matching receipt documentation
Maintains workplace mail locations
Provides workplace administrative support
Receives vendor deliveries and ensures they are delivered to correct storage area
Inventory Facilities/Workplace supplies
Delivers materials as needed for engineering and project support teams
Minimum Requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to comply with client health and safety protocols
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment, to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to use Google Suite
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Good initiative and judgment
- Valid California drivers license with excellent driving record
- Experience with Slack and other related IT systems
- Hazmat Certified
- Experience working in a Pharma/ Biotech/ Life Science environment
- Experience with mail delivery automation software
- Compensation: $58,400 - $73,000
