Position Overview QinetiQ US' Defense Division is seeking a Workforce Development and Training Specialist to become a part of our outstanding team supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSDP), Policy Management & Operations (PMO) office within the Pentagon.
The PMO office's mission is to provide outstanding strategic management and services in support of Policy's mission through being committed to the pursuit of excellence, transparency, and accountability.
An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has a demonstrated ability to work as an integrated member and leader of a team to achieve mission objectives.
Focus areas of the team include Trade-craft & Training, Collaboration & Team Dynamics; Leadership & Management; and Organizational Effectiveness.
Specific Duties include: Responsibilities
• Develop and administratively manage on-site training tailored for OUSDP staff.
• Manage scheduling and payment of trainings provided by vendors; administratively manage funding and approval for trainings
• Track and provide administrative support to National Security Rotation Program (NSRP) employees (timekeeping, leave processing, pay, travel, and emergency needs).
• Develop, facilitate, and track workshops and off-site events, including development of strategies and prioritizing.
• Design and implement an OUSDP leadership development program and individual development planning.
• Conduct data collection and analysis of workplace climate (e.g.
surveys, interviews, focus groups).
• Facilitate Policy-specific strategic communications planning.
• Provide subject matter expertise and support enhancements to Policy's performance management process.
• Support executive level priorities related to organizational effectiveness.
• Facilitate career development for Policy personnel across all career levels.
Required Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in human capital development, organizational change management, strategic workforce planning, or career pathing.
• A Bachelor's degree.
