Founded in 1963, this client is a manufacturer and retailer of jet planes. This position will be located at their completion center in Little Rock, Arkansas, which employs about 1,400 people, occupying nearly 1,000,000 total sq. ft., This worksite handles all phases of aircraft completions and modifications such as instrumentation, wiring, interiors, painting, engineering and flight testing. The facility is 100% dedicated to supporting only their jet product line. It operates as a “one-stop shop,” servicing all jet models with inspections, maintenance and repair needs. They offer interior fittings, avionics, engines and support services.

DESCRIPTION
The Team Leader of Avionics/Electrical Design Support will oversee activities by the avionics/electrical design team members. He/she will manage the design and certification of electrical/avionics systems. In this role, you will assume responsibilities of the Engineering Manager in his/her absence.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Six years of experience with corporate aircraft.
Must be able to perform job with minimal supervision.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Strong Organizational Skills
Understanding of certification requirements
Understanding of aircraft systems and trouble shooting.
Familiarity with FAA Requirements for FAR Part 25.

DESCRIPTION
The Team Leader of Avionics/Electrical Design Support will oversee activities by the avionics/electrical design team members. He/she will manage the design and certification of electrical/avionics systems. In this role, you will assume responsibilities of the Engineering Manager in his/her absence.
- Manage a dedicated team of engineers in the completion of design and certification packages on assigned aircraft.
- Responsible for scheduling, standardizing, validating, and ensuring consistent avionics/electrical design documentation to support certification and aircraft documentation requirements.
- Primary contact for team member assistance/guidance on all design related matters.
- Primary contact for team member and other departments for certification questions and procedures.
- Schedule and maintain group documents and database information.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide her/her team with the necessary details and information to complete the assigned tasks.
- Organize and standardize development of documentation supporting evaluation of new system design (test plan, maintenance manual, etc.).
- Ensure that company procedures and processes are followed.
- May be required to support avionics/electrical efforts at other DAS locations/sites.
