Warehouse Technician - Marvin

About the Job
Our Warehouse Technicians deliver on our purpose by ensuring that our Project Managers and Installers in the field have everything they need, on-time, in-place, and ready to go for an exceptional customer experience. They manage the inventory and warehouse space, liaise with Marvin factories, and coordinate for the delivery of materials and product, all while ensuring that all internal processes are followed.
Highlights of your role:- Load and unload deliveries to and from the warehouse assigned. Coordinate ETAs for delivery and flagging any potentially late deliveries.
- Make material runs for material shortages on active jobsites. Some local travel to pick up parts and supplies.
- Organize the product in the warehouse and keep maintain shipping/receiving area. Provide input to leadership about warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
- Manage weekly and monthly counts on inventory ensuring accuracy for job site costs and available material in inventory.
- Manage vendors / service providers in relation to maintenance or projects within facility
- Ensure that employees adhere to all health and safety regulations. Maintain appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and hazardous materials
- Assist with projects on occasion
- Assist in the building maintenance including but not limited to snow removal, minor building repairs, cleaning etc.
- Proven warehouse experience
- Construction experience helpful but not required
- Experience with inventory
- Ability to stand for at least 6 hours per day
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- Ability to lift, push/pull, and carry at least 40lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and kneel
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record.
