V3 Electric is a fast-growing solar sales and installation company looking to hire a Warehouse Associate at our Lincoln warehouse. This will be a full-time, permanent position with room to grow within the company.
In the Warehouse position, inventory control skills and data entry experience are essential. The position requires an individual to be able to work independently but also be able to support and assist our installation crews. The position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of work orders, working swiftly to resolve discrepancies, and being able to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety standards. You will play a critical role in supporting the installation teams by ensuring materials and equipment are available and ready for use. This position requires someone with strong organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and experience in managing warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of solar panels, inverters, racking systems, and other solar-related materials.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and maintaining proper stock control.
- Develop and implement effective warehouse processes and procedures to ensure timely order fulfillment for solar installation teams.
- Collaborate closely with installation managers and procurement teams to ensure materials are available and distributed efficiently to job sites.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards).
- Manage, train, and mentor warehouse staff to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate documentation.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and ensure real-time updates.
- Troubleshoot any inventory discrepancies and work to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained and repaired as needed to avoid downtime.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, preferably in the solar or construction industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control software.
- Knowledge of solar equipment and materials (preferred but not required).
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices (OSHA compliance).
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments (e.g., installation, procurement, logistics).
- Forklift certification and ability to operate warehouse equipment (preferred).
