Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be an experienced senior warehouse associate who has previously been involved in daily warehouse activities such as picking, packing, packaging and labeling, and dispatching. The Warehouse Lead will report into the Operations Manager and will be actively involved in developing, implementing, and enforcing policies that ensure the safety and efficiency of the warehouse. The selected candidate will have a strong focus on client service, delivery, and reliability. This candidate should have at least three years of experience in GMP warehouse environment, can quickly switch gears to handle a range of duties and is proficient with ERP platforms.
General Responsibilities:
- Ensuring work is to the highest quality.
- Lead and coach current and new staff
- Delegate to warehouse team daily tasks and follow up.
- Hold morning meeting with team and brief on daily tasks and timelines.
- Report any staff issues or capacity conditions to Operations Manager or above.
- Work with Logistics Teams and follow up on any late deliveries or mis-shipments.
- Responsible for global products and dispatch and storage of aged inventory.
- Work cross functionally to eliminate any aged products in Global access storage.
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are enforced and maintained.
- Report and Suggest Health and Safety improvements to Enhance Safety Protocols.
- Provide Health and safety awareness in Team
- Constant focus on continuous improvement in the warehouse environment.
- Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Responsible for completing warehouse checklists as required and report to on any discrepancies noticed.
- Manage Goods in receipts and process and put away in agreed SLA timelines.
- Ensure all new and current products have correct Product code and description label attached to storage box.
- Other duties as assigned.
Warehouse:
- Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments and review the associated shipping documents.
- Ensure all warehouse ERP transactions are performed.
- Ensure packing of the shipments are according to customers’ requests and standards.
- Manage receiving and storing product in its appropriate temperature storage conditions
- Manage the inspection of customers incoming shippers, conditioning and storing.
- Review pictures for outgoing shipments, organizing & uploading onto established shared folder system and assist as required.
- Provide internal team with shipment details (e.g. product dimensions).
- Label and pack special products if required. (e.g. Cytotoxic products).
- Responsible for performing and initiating physical inventory counts as scheduled.
- Responsible for removing any expired and/or damaged goods from the inventory following the relevant SOPs.
- Responsible for keeping GXP warehouse and facility clean and tidy.
