Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate with logistics experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping/receiving, and assisting with logistics coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse processes and logistics procedures, ensuring smooth, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular stock counts, and assist in the organization and storage of goods in the warehouse.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Receiving & Shipping: Assist with the unloading, inspection, and storage of incoming shipments. Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics teams to track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring a safe working environment by following all safety protocols.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery as needed.
- Data Entry: Input inventory and shipment data into the warehouse management system (WMS) or other tracking tools as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse associates, managers, and logistics personnel to optimize operations and meet daily targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory control software.
- Basic understanding of logistics processes, including shipping, receiving, and transportation coordination.
- Ability to lift up to [insert weight] and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
