Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Pallet Inspector at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX
Warehouse, Manufacturing and Repair positions pay Weekly
+ Hourly Pay $16.00 per hour
+ Schedule: First Shift: Friday and Saturday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, Second shift Monday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am.
+ Beginning in December, will also work Sunday 5:00 am - 1:30 am

Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ 1 to 2 years or more in Carpentry, Manufacturing environment preferred
+ Ability to comprehend basic math
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Able to work within a diverse work environment
+ Highly thorough and dependable
+ Must be punctual and have a good attendance record
+ Performs work independently with minimal supervision
+ Possesses a high degree of initiative
+ Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
+ Ability to
+ Work independently and as a member of a team
+ Be a team player
+ Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
+ Operate power equipment in a safe manner
+ Lift and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs
+ Twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis
+ Use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements
+ Work at a steady, fast pace while kneeling and/or twisting
+ Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day)
Responsibilities
+ Pallet Inspector/Palamatic Operator:
+ Safely and securely inspect pallets at a rate that meets company standards and in a manner thatmeets company safety standards
+ Manually lift 70lb pallets from a stack to a rolling line; in addition lift the pallets for inspectionand separation utilizing the palamatic machine
+ Quality:
+ Ensure that proper inspection and separation is met
+ Inventory:
+ Conduct physical inventories as required
+ Safety and Security:
+ Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
+ Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
+ Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
+ Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards
+ Must wear all safety equipment while repairing pallets
+ Performs duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
+ Performs other duties as assigned
