We are currently seeking a WaferFabrication Engineering Manager for our client in the Manufacturing domain. Role Description: The Wafer Fabrication Engineering Manager must have 5+ years of experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversee wafer processing and photodetector device fabrication.
- Expert knowledge in common wafer fabrication operations including Photolithography, optical coatings, wet chemical processing, metallization, RIE & PECVD thin film deposition.
- Technical engagement in process and product development, including mask design (L-Edit experience preferred), process DOE, and establishing optimal process recipes to maximize yield and device performance.
- Problem solving ability with an organized and analytical approach
- Evaluate and optimize existing processes and procedures
- Ability to forecast and implement upgrades for increased volume and new product production.
- Able to understand and train staff as needed in process requirements, cleanroom protocol, and specific product specifications.

Education, Requirements, and Experience:
- Engineering or Physics degree (B.S or greater) and extensive semiconductor fabrication experience.
- Photodetector and III-V material experience desired.
- 8+ years semiconductor wafer manufacturing supervisory/management experience ideally in optoelectronic devices or other high tech manufacturing environment.
- Able to meet requirements to work with ITAR and US export restricted items.
- Lean or Six Sigma experience is beneficial.
Education: Engineering or Physics degree (B.S or greater) and extensive semiconductor fabrication experience
