Job Title: Wholesale Outside Sales Representative FLSA/Grade: Exempt/Salary
Reports to: District Sales Manager Department: Sales
Position Summary:
The Wholesale Outside Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling products and services while supporting the company's sales goals through professional sales techniques and excellent customer service. This role aims to drive sales growth within the wholesale market by identifying new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with wholesale customers. The representative will manage and expand a portfolio of wholesale clients, ensure customer satisfaction, and meet sales targets by performing the following duties.
The position of Wholesale Outside Sales Representative is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act. It shall not be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked, more than 40 in any one work week.
The WholesaleOutside Sales Representative shall be accountable and supervised by the District Sales Manager

- Develop new wholesale accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify potential wholesale customers, generate leads, and follow up with qualified prospects to expand the customer base.
- Demonstrate and present the Company's products to wholesale customers, highlighting their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with wholesale clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and closing sales.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs by consistently generating new business and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to develop strategies to stay competitive and drive growth.
- Provide ongoing support to wholesale clients, resolve issues or concerns, and ensure timely deliveries and product availability.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account information in the CRM system; provide regular reports on sales progress and forecasts.
- Work closely with the marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the Company at industry trade shows and networking opportunities to build relationships, stay updated on industry trends, and promote products.
- Maintain organized files on all accounts in the assigned territory for sales forecasting.
- Complete and submit weekly sales reports on account activity, outstanding proposals, proposals secured, and proposals lost, with complete documentation.
- Successfully managed the collections process, ensuring all outstanding invoices are paid on time.
- Collect and report competitive information to management.
- Always ensure an attractive and orderly company image through effective sales displays.
- Contact prospective and current customers to solicit sales of Company products and services.
- Develop maximum sales potential out of the assigned territory through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of the Company's products and services.
- Contact customers via telephone, correspondence, or in person, traveling as necessary to meet and surpass profitable sales goals.
- Receive customer inquiries. Perform follow-up procedures to provide price quotes and new product information; gather feedback regarding company products and services.
- Travel to customer locations to professionally present company products, services, and pricing information.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in wholesale or B2B sales, preferably within Food industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of wholesale distribution processes, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities within a competitive market.
- Proficiency in CRM software (NCR, Pepper, and/or PowerSell.)
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Associates Degree or Higher.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Prior sales experience in paper, dry, refrigerated and frozen food products.

- 70,000-90,000 based on experience
